Fiberglass reinforcement was chosen to clad the ceiling of a tunnel in Brussels. First, old, loose concrete was removed and then refilled with mortar. Then, the ceiling was covered with fiberglass mesh. These meshes were attached to the ceiling using brackets. The tunnel was then given a new layer of concrete using sprayed concrete.
