At a farm in Heeswijk-Dinther, they decided to pour a new floor over an existing slatted floor. In some places, only a few centimeters of concrete could be poured in. This wouldn't have been possible with steel mesh, as steel reinforcement requires at least 3 cm of concrete cover to prevent corrosion.

For fiberglass reinforcement, 1.5 cm of coverage is sufficient; fiberglass is not susceptible to rust. Meshes measuring 5000x2000 / 150x150 / 6mm were chosen here.
