Repra BV supplied fiberglass reinforcement for a high-quality sand-cement screed floor at a home in Rosmalen. This floor has underfloor heating, which requires an extra stable and durable construction. Therefore, a double layer of reinforcement was chosen:

• Base: a sturdy net of Ø6 with a mesh width of 150×150 mm, for a solid base and distribution of forces.
• Top layer: a finer mesh of Ø4 with a mesh width of 100×100 mm, to minimize cracking due to heat changes.

This construction not only ensures a stable floor, but also extends the lifespan of the sand-cement screed, especially in combination with underfloor heating.
